A 游戏世界 can be permanently closed at the end of a season if it has one or less managers and it is administered by the SMFA. If a 游戏世界 is due to be closed then a warning message will be displayed within My Home.

A 自定义竞技场 is the only type of 游戏世界 that can be saved from closing at the end of the season.

However, to prevent this from happening the 自定义竞技场 owner needs to reclaim the 游戏世界 or alternatively it needs to be purchased as a pre-owned 自定义竞技场 no later than the last Turn of the season.
